Monica Ritterband has designed the table concept »Airborne«, which is inspired by the wing of an airplane. It is strong and stringent; light and elegant. The concept comprises a dining table, conference table and coffee table and is suitable for private homes as well as companies.

With their streamlined Nordic design, the tables are a perfect match for quality sofas.

The coffee tables have plenty of space for putting things on and rounded corners so that you avoid bumping into sharp edges when going around the table to find your place in the sofa.

The conference and dining tables have been designed so that the traditional hierarchal seating at the foot of the table has been replaced by equality seating all the way around the table. In a canteen environment this would signal humanity and equality at the work place.

The design of the table legs for the dining and conference tables as well as for the coffee table has also been inspired by the flight industry. The slim oval shape provides the tables with a strong footing but at the same time an airy elegance. This very original series has been designed with respect for its surroundings so that it can easily be incorporated into any environment in which modern, high quality furnishings are of paramount importance.
