Monica Ritterband has designed a series of plaids with stories woven into soft Alpaca wool. »All my artistic works contain a story or a snip of a story, an emotion or an observation. In Primordial Force I have been inspired by the sun’s light, energy and heat. I have made the suns on the plaid oblong because that is how I experience the sun’s rays when the sun rises and sets. The motif is a direct extrapolation of the product’s function to provide warmth.
I would like the motif to tell the story that here is a product that provides warmth and that wraps itself around you but have also in this case found inspiration in the world of music and have designed the plaid "Tangent".«
Monica Ritterband has created the dish »Fruit & Greens«, the wall-mounted candle holders »Uplight« and the table candle holders »Highlights«. All of the products are made in Denmark in the highest quality hand-polished stainless steel.
